Summary

This is updated advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) recommending against all but essential travel to China. The FCO also says it is working to finalise arrangements for evacuating British nationals. People currently in China are advised to make decisions based on their personal circumstances, bearing in mind travel may become more difficult in the coming days. Public Health England (PHE) also updates its advice for people returning from Wuhan in the last 14 days, advising people to isolate and call NHS 111 to inform them of recent travel to the city.
