Summary

The government guidance states that as at 1 June 2020 people can get a throat and nose swab test to determine whether they currently have coronavirus as part of the five pillar strategy for coronavirus testing. The guidance outlines:

  • who can be tested
  • how essential workers can arrange a test
  • the testing process
  • guidance on care home residents and workers (England only)
  • a list of essential workers and those prioritised for testing (England only).
